At PengPod we believe in open systems and the potential of our users. Our goal is a to offer high power, low cost tablets that run both Linux and Android. We think you should be free to modify your device and spend your time creating your solution, not working around our restrictions. Our commitment is to deliver you a working Linux and Android OS and to make available our tools and software so you can modify the system as you see fit. You shouldn't have to spend your time recreating what we have done.

Crowdfunding

We want to be able to offer PengPod 1040 Tablet with the best software
possible, at the best price possible and produce a quality product with
an experienced, open source friendly contract manufacturer. To meet our
hardware goals and guarantee quality we need volume. Furthermore, this
is our second time to market and we are now familiar with the demands of
delivering the perks.
